How we list hotels

These are the rules behind the list.

• We list Cappadocia hotels in general, not a hand-picked few. The same 80-hotel catalogue appears on this site and on Göreme Hotels and Ürgüp Hotels; each site only changes what comes first.
• Hotel data comes from gocappadocia.com, the booking platform set up jointly by Cappadocia’s hoteliers.
• We write the descriptions in our own words and do not copy the hotels’ texts.
• Hotels pay nothing to be listed, and nobody can buy a higher position.
• We take no commission and expect no income from bookings. If a hotel is active on gocappadocia.com, the Book button opens its page there; otherwise it opens the hotel’s own website.
• The three sites share one catalogue, so pages that repeat content point to one canonical address and search engines see the content once.
• New hotels and hotels that leave gocappadocia.com are picked up by our regular gocappadocia-sync update, and the catalogue changes with them.
• We leave a fact out rather than guess it: if a detail is not in a hotel’s record, it does not appear on the page.
• We do not publish best-hotel rankings; lists follow place and facilities, and each hotel is described on the same terms as the others.
