Honeymoon hotels in Cappadocia: the 11 with a honeymoon concept

11 of the 80 hotels in our catalogue tick a honeymoon concept, and nine more say honeymoon in their text, so 20 records speak to couples on a honeymoon. None says what the concept contains. The tick is the whole statement; the text adds a fruit basket here and a candlelit jacuzzi there, and in six records the plain remark that the hotel is not for couples alone. So this guide lists the 11 by town, shows what each ticks, separates the honeymoon label from the jacuzzi that people expect to come with it, and ends with what to ask. Ten tick breakfast, nine parking, nine air conditioning and nine family rooms. Balloons are the thinnest column: four ticks and three mentions in text, seven of the 11. Divan’s breakfast is a buffet from 8:00 to 10:30 according to its record, though it does not tick breakfast included.

What the label does and does not say

No record defines a honeymoon concept. Aja’s mentions honeymoon packages and Flavia’s honeymoon-focused features, Juno says it is set up around the concept and Chiaro that its setting is geared to honeymooners. Only Karlık Evi calls its atmosphere romantic.

Six records add that the hotel is not for couples alone (Aja, Chakra, Chiaro, Flavia, Fosil and Vigor), and 14 of the 20 hotels that say honeymoon also list family rooms. The honeymoon label is a concept, not an age rule: if you want a stay without children, see adults-only hotels and ask in writing, because none of the four hotels with an age rule in the name ticks honeymoon.

The jacuzzi question

A honeymoon suggests a private hot tub, and the records seldom join the two. 13 hotels mention a jacuzzi or hot tub: seven tick it (Hu of Cappadocia, Konak Bezirhane, Leda Stone House, Mimi, Simera, Soho and Yılkı) and six say so in text (Azure, Hidden Cave Hotel, Kayata, Karlık Evi, The Calypso Cave and The Niche). None of the seven ticks sits on a hotel with a honeymoon tick. Only three of the 13 also say honeymoon: Azure has jacuzzi suites, Kayata has indoor private hot tubs, and Karlık Evi a valley-facing jacuzzi that can be used by candlelight.

The nine that say it in text

Cappadocia Fairy Chimneys Selfie Cave Hotels, Karlık Cave Suite, Karlık Evi Cappadocia, The Kingdom of Cappadocia - Luxury Hotel, Uçhisar Palace In Cappadocia and Vigor Cappadocia (ex Elite Cave) are in Uçhisar. Grand Cave Suites and Serene Premium Stone House are in Göreme, and Chakra Special Caves is in Ürgüp. A complimentary fruit basket is listed by Chakra, Karlık Cave Suite and Uçhisar Palace, and by Arcus, which does not mention honeymoon. Karlık Evi has 25 rooms, a swimming pool and art as its theme, and The Kingdom of Cappadocia lists a pool, a spa and a hamam.

Plan for the sunrise

Several records point out that check-in is from 14:00, so a morning balloon flight from the hotel means arriving the evening before.
